Live Blackjack India on Playinexch
Blackjack is one of the few casino games where the house edge drops below 1% if you play correctly. Playinexch runs live-dealer blackjack with 8-deck shoes, dealer stands on soft 17, double after split allowed, and insurance offered on dealer Ace. These rules keep the standard house edge around 0.5%.
If you are new to the game, the sections below cover the rules and basic strategy — the one actually mathematical approach that lowers the house edge.
How a hand plays out
Beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21. Face cards count as 10. Aces are 1 or 11. Each player gets two cards, dealer shows one. You decide to:
- Hit: take another card.
- Stand: keep your current total.
- Double: double your bet, take one more card, stand.
- Split: if your two cards match, split them into two hands.
- Surrender: fold and get half your bet back (where offered).
The dealer plays second with fixed rules: hit until 17 or higher. Blackjack (Ace + 10) beats a regular 21 and pays 3:2.
Tables we run
- Classic Blackjack: 7 seats, standard pace. The default.
- Speed Blackjack: faster deal and decision timer.
- Infinite Blackjack: every player plays the same hand, unlimited seats.
- VIP Blackjack: higher minimum stake, dedicated dealer.
Basic strategy, short version
Hard totals:
- Hit on 11 or lower against any dealer card.
- Stand on 17 or higher.
- Hit on 12-16 if dealer shows 7 or higher. Stand otherwise.
Soft totals (with Ace):
- Soft 17 or lower: hit.
- Soft 19 or higher: stand.
- Soft 18: hit against dealer 9, 10, A. Stand otherwise.
Always split Aces and 8s. Never split 5s or 10s. Double on 10 and 11 against most dealer cards. Insurance is a bad bet in the long run; skip it.

With 8-deck shoes and frequent shuffling, counting edge is near zero.
Should I take insurance?
No. Over time, insurance costs you about 7% of the bet.
